The Kevin Collins Abilities Scholarship is presented to a post-secondary student with a disability. Eligible applicants must have at minimum one full semester left in their post-secondary education.
The 2022 recipient is Hannah MacLellan of Pownal, Prince Edward Island. Hannah was born with Cerebral Palsy. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Human Rights and Social Justice, with a Minor in Disability Studies at Carleton University. She is planning on pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work before completing a Law Degree. Her goal is to use her abilities and tools obtained during her studies to continue her advocacy work, working on a policy advisor on accessibility issues in the Public Service Sector of the Federal Government. We Care would like to congratulate Hannah, and thank Aramark Canada for sponsoring this year’s award.
