Katherina (pronounced Katrina) started her professional career in the hospitality industry before finding her calling working in the charitable sector. She has a strong history in philanthropic strategies and nonprofit management.

Katherina’s career has provided opportunities to develop strategy and designs, and execute a full complement of transformational multifaceted fundraising programs for national nonprofit organizations that focus on children and youth mental health and physical wellness.

In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her two neurodivergent teenagers being creative, develing in science experiments, and watching movies. She is an active volunteer in her community and enjoys putting pen to paper writing poetry.

Katherina’s overarching experiences, progressive leadership roles, advocacy skills, and personal characteristics will directly advance We Care Canada’s vision – enabling kids living with disabilities to realize their full potential.
