Vanessa joined the We Care Board in early 2022. She had attended Nous Aidons events in Quebec prior and was excited to take a bigger role in helping grow and strengthen the organization’s impact. She joined the Board as the new Treasurer and looks forward to utilizing her skills to help guide the organizations financial management for many years to come.

Vanessa is the CFO at Mid-Day Squares, a chocolate company. Prior to that, she worked as the CFO and VP of Finance for the Quebec region at Sysco Quebec. She has held various financial leadership roles focused on reorganizing, streamlining and leading teams productively. She’s also an active member of various women’s empowerment groups, working to promote and grow the presence of women in the industry.
