George Guinto

2023-2025 Ambassador

Meet 13-year-old George, who is entering his second year as We Care Ambassador, and has been nothing short of incredible at representing our cause and kids living with disabilities everywhere. At the age of 8, George was diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia, which is a Rare neuro degenerative disease that effects balance and coordination.

As a We Care Ambassador, George is as photogenic as they get, always quick to share a smile and chat with everyone who has the opportunity of meeting this wonderful young man.

Some of George’s favorites include…

Food: “Pizza with extra cheese! It’s the best comfort food, and I could probably eat it every day if I was allowed!”

Camp Activity: “Archery. It’s so cool to feel like a real-life hero aiming for the target. Plus, it’s something I can do at my own pace, which makes it even more fun.”

Superhero: “Professor X from the X-Men. He uses his mind to make a difference and shows that living with a disability doesn’t stop you from being a leader or a hero.”

Movie: “Probably The Incredibles. I love how it’s all about family working together and how everyone’s unique abilities make them stronger as a team. Plus, Jack-Jack is hilarious!”
